Lenco launched in 2021 as a digital-only business bank supporting business of all sizes and enabling business owners create and manage a business current account without visiting a physical outlet and overcoming the hassles of opening an account.

Goal

Redesign of the Lenco landing page to create a user-friendly interface that focuses on simplicity and highlighting the core products offered.

My Role & Approach

I joined the team as the sole designer and I collaborated with key stakeholders, business support, and marketing unit to understand the business goals and priorities.

I collected some useful data with the help of third-party tools like HotJar and Google Analytics which were already implemented on the website. We discovered unique patterns of usage and information structure. Our insights helped us to establish a baseline for future improvement and also retain some familiarity with the existing interface

Previous Landing Page

We drafted out the layout, navigation design, and call to action, updated the content on the landing page, and set the tone of voice to improve the messaging so it can be easily understood by all users and do away with vague and ambiguous terms.

I led the redesign by working with Figma and collaborating with developers on Trello to build the project. We followed an agile project management framework for this task which helped us in iterating and testing the ideas faster.

I looked at several websites for inspiration highlighted the pros and cons of each website and put together a mood board.

After studying the data and references i went on to design the basic wireframe for the website to have a clear overview of the page structures, flow, layout & orientation of the overall composition of the webpage.

Product Page

The design followed the same style & pattern as the home page with a brief statement at the top that was complemented by a low-fidelity illustration which kept the design of the website consistent and simple.

Conclusion

This project went live and I learned a lot from the project and my teammates. We were able to develop brand consistency that scaled across other aspects of the business. The website went live in time for the announcement of Techstars'21
